No OS window chrome. The entire window is Inkwell — themed edge to edge. Drag, snap, minimize, maximize, close all work natively.

Files & Tabs

• New file — Ctrl+N
• Open file — Ctrl+O with native dialog
• Save / Save As — Ctrl+S / Ctrl+Shift+S
• Close tab — Ctrl+W with unsaved prompt
• Drag & drop — drop .md files onto the editor
• Auto-save — content saved to localStorage continuously

Focus Mode

One click to hide everything except your words. Press Escape to return.

Typewriter Mode

Keeps the cursor line centered vertically while you type. Toggle in the toolbar.

Find & Replace

Ctrl+F opens the search bar. Find with match highlighting, replace single or replace all.

Templates

10 built-in templates + save your own. Click a template to start a new document with that structure.

Auto-generated from your headings. Click to jump. Active section highlighted.

Version History

Auto-snapshots every 5 minutes. Preview any version, see line-by-line diffs, restore with one click.

Recent Files

Quick access to your last 8 files. Grayed out if a file has been moved or deleted.
